The corporation Con-Vivamos (Let’s Live Together) is a local community organisation created on 15th July 1990, (registered charity number 37663).

Our organisation promotes local development, education, participative action research, community promotion and psychosocial accompaniment. Intervention targets local children, youth, women and men throughout the marginalised Northeastern area of Medellín which is made up of the Comuna 1 Popular, Comuna 2 Santa Cruz, Comuna 3 Manrique and the Comuna 4 Aranjuez. Our areas of work include human rights promotion, solidarity networks, developing local identity and gender equality.

The corporation is composed of an assembly of associates which appoints the management and general staff. Furthermore there is an interdisciplinary work group which develops activities at the institution.

Con-Vivamos’ activities follow a strategic three year development plan.
